POLICIES

NO OFFENSIVE BEHAVIOR

Inappropriate or offensive conduct of a sexual or other nature in any part of the facility or on the AYM premises will not be tolerated.

NO FOUL LANGUAGE

No profanity will be allowed in any part of the gym, including locker rooms, or on the premises, including the parking lot.

NO SMOKING

The AYM facility is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is not permitted on the premises, including the parking lot.

NO DRUGS OR ALCOHOL

No alcoholic beverages or prescription drugs are allowed in the facility, including the locker rooms or in the parking lot.

CHANGES

The only person authorized to change or inquire on this agreement is the adult member named as member in this agreement.

The hours of operation shall be posted at each facility. Hours and days of operation are subject to change at the discretion of AYM.

The facilities may be temporarily closed for maintenance purposes, holidays, or for other temporary reasons at the sole discretion of AYM.

Each member upon entering the gym will be required to sign into the member management system. This will prompt the system to validate your membership

(a) providing a clear facial picture for identification is required, and (b) payment of a service.

Members are invited to bring or refer their friends or relatives for guest visits. Each member, subject to the manager’s approval may bring or refer as many guests as member desires. Members may not bring or refer guests who are under 18 years of age without a Parental Guardian present. AYM reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to charge a guest fee in an amount to be established by AYM and to extend or to terminate member’s guest and guest’s privileges at any time. Use of the AYM’s facilities by guests shall be governed by the terms of this agreement.

Lockers and/or cube storage are provided for the convenience of members on a daily basis only (unless otherwise contracted for). All personal belongings must be placed in lockers or cube storage and removed when member leaves the facility. Any locks remaining on lockers overnight may, in AYM’s discretion, be removed and AYM will not be obligated to replace the lock or any items that were left in the locker or cube storage. AYM is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property, any valuables brought into the facility shall be at the sole risk of the member. AYM is not an insurer of any of member’s personal property and is under no obligation to provide insurance coverage to member for his/her personal property.

All motor vehicles (including all contents thereof) shall be parked at the sole risk of member, it being expressly agreed and understood that AYM has no duty to insure any of said motor vehicles (including the contents thereof), and that AYM is not responsible for the protection and/or security of such vehicles. AYM shall have no liability whatsoever or any property damage and/or personal injury which might occur as a result of or in connection with the parking and use of said motor vehicles in any parking spaces.

Sexual harassment will not be tolerated. Close toed shoes and suitable, presentable and clean clothing in good repair is to be worn by member at member’s own expense. Members wearing clothing deemed inappropriate by AYM may be asked to leave the facility. Negative attitudes, threats, fighting, or disruptive or threatening conduct will not be tolerated. No unauthorized business may be conducted or solicited (including but not limited to a member or guest training or providing instruction to another member or guest, regardless of whether a fee is charged) in or on the premises.

To promote safety and more time efficient exercise programs, remember to return all plates, dumbbells and barbells to designated racks. During high-traffic workout hours, be sure to encourage members to “work-in” with you between sets during your rest period and follow designated time limits on all machines and courteously relinquish use to next member waiting when those time limits have expired. Furthermore, Member agrees to conduct him/herself in a quiet, well- mannered fashion while on the premises and to respect the right of other members, guests, and staff. Be sure to wipe down equipment with a towel after use.

CHILDREN

No children under the age of 12 will be allowed in the premises unsupervised, except for CrossFit Kids. At AYM, this age may change, without recourse by member. Member understands that member or a guardian that is 16 years old or older MUST supervise all minors under the age of 16 while on the premises.

MINOR

All members that sign the membership agreement shall be assumed to be 18 years of age or older, or in the case of a minor member, that the member is the parent or legal guardian of the minor member. By signing any of these categories, member incorporates responsibility of proof of legal ages and/or guardianship.
